A search is underway for the nation's favourite Mormon, with speculation over whether Mitt Romney will finish in second place or score a narrow victory.
In a poll currently being compiled by Mormon Today! magazine, there have been a wide range of regional winners, with Donny Osmond, Marie Osmond, Jimmy Osmond and 'That guy from Big Love with all the wives' all polling well.

In interviews for MormonToday!.com in the run up to the much anticipated release of the magazine, there were many people expressing surprise at some of the celebrities who turn out to be Mormons. Voters in the poll were largely unaware that Katherine Heigl, Glenn Beck, and Richard Dawkins are all Mormons.
"Wait, Aaron Eckhart's a Mormon?" said one shocked respondent. "Can I change my answer, he's way cooler than Romney! He's fricking Two Face for frick's sake!"

"This is our way of showing that us Mormons aren't all squares," said Darrell Fairbanks, editor of Mormon Today!
"I'm a big fan of Glenn Beck's comedy stylings, the way he makes fun of those rightwing pundits like Bill O'Reilly and Stephen Colbert. And Katherine Heigl - wow."
Fairbanks spoke with jolliness, a jolliness that was so extreme it was hard to tell if he was faking his enthusiasm or because that's how Mormons actually are.
"She's one of those edgy modern comedians I love so much. She once did a film where a young boy activates her vibrator underwear in a public restaurant. That's just the kind of edgy, modern..." Fairbanks seemed to wince at this point. "Gosh darn it, I can't even pretend to be proud of that."
