WASHINGTON (Wreuters) - White House hopeful Mitt Romney has recently widened his lead over rival Newt Gingrich however he is still not satisfied and has, today, offered a very unusual 'challenge' to Gingrich. This unusual challenge is said believed to do away with the recent polls and 'cut straight to the chase'.
With less than a month before the Super Tuesday primaries, Romney has challenged Gingrich to a 'DANCE OFF'. If the challenge is accepted it will mean there will be no need for voters to go to the polls on March 6th.
It is not common knowledge but both Gingrich and Romney took dance lessons in their childhood and, indeed, carried on with these lessons until both entered politics. Both men competed in dance competitions and were fierce rivals 'on the boards'. Both won hundreds of trophies dancing in tap dancing competitions all over the United States.
Aides of both politicians admitted that they have continued with dance lessons when time has permitted, in an effort to stay in shape.
Romney is reported to have announced that the judges will definitely be impartial as they are bring flown over from Bulgaria. These judges are not at all interested in American politics and have never heard of Romney or Gingrich. None of the judges speak English and therefore will not be open to bribes from either party. The judges are to be surrounded by security men and will stay in an undisclosed 5 star hotel until the time of the competition.
At the time of publishing no word had been received on Gingrich's decision but an insider said he WAS seen polishing his tap shoes.
More on this as we get it.
