Washington D.C.-- Crowds gathered outside the White House today in protest. But this rally wasn't about questioning the president's citizenship (that was yesterday's rally) or even about questioning the president's religion (that's scheduled for tomorrow), but instead was about the United States' views on global warming.
Amid a thunderous cheer, Glenn Beck took to a small podium in front of the large crowd. "Everyone knows my view on the issue of global warming. Not only is it a lie created to bring down big oil businesses in the pursuit of a Marxist police state, it is also an offense to God. He is angry with us and he wants us to know."
Glenn Beck began to cry as the crowd cheered. "He has sent us floods and tornadoes and hurricanes as punishment for believing that things like floods and tornadoes and hurricanes are caused by global warming. There's [a] reason that those things are called 'Acts of God.'"
Glenn Beck's view represents the almost twenty percent of Americans that believe that we will never see any effects of global warming, not counting God's wrath.
